New test crops

We grow lots of acorn squash, but we needed a heirloom bush variety added to our seed stock.  Also, I couldn't help but get another pumpkin variety.  This one is called "Casper".  They claim that Casper is just right for painting and carving but is also rich in beta carotene (like carrots) and is perfect for pies, breads and soups.  This one should be good for road side sales, as well as for cooking.  But the proof will be in the pie!   If everyone likes it, the seed stock will be collected from the best pumpkins and saved for next year.

Now, it may be silly of me, but I just couldn't pass up BLUE POPCORN!!!!  Just a small patch for seed stock, as it really is only for decoration.  But, gotta have some fun...  a BEARS GOTTA DO....WHAT A BEARS GOTTA DO.  Blu Bear
