CHICKEN UPDATE

The big day has finally come...the hens are in their new outdoor pen.  You can't see it, but the roof is actually enclosed with bird netting.  This keeps predators out...and the chickens in.  When they get a little older, they will be allowed to roam free...only to be called back to their home at night.  (that's easier than you would believe...they know who feeds them!)  When they become full grown and start laying eggs, they'll probably move one more time into a chicken coop.
