Nope...they are not blueberries. And, we are growing some this year in my garden. They are Huckleberries! Kind of like a blue version of holly....as in the Ho Ho song. You can eat them, and make muffins & pies and such, but they are not very sweet. So, you need to add a little more sugar to your recipes and then you'll think you are eating a blueberry pie! If you look closely at the leaves, you'll notice they are much different. Huckleberries are in the "evergreen" family, but they taste a whole lot better than a pine tree!
