Check out the unusual winter squash we grow

US BEARS GROW SOME NEAT LOOKING PUMPKINS
These are all edible and delicious "pumpkins"  The two color squash you see is probably one of the most unusual acorn type we've ever bread.  We hope that its seed will produce the same colors next year so we can add it to the list of yummy varieties that we call our very own.  We always share seed at no charge to anyone who promises to share the harvest with others, especially those in need.

We now have three distinct baking type winter squash that we have created here on the farm.  We only save seed that produces well, and both excels in taste and beauty.  Can you think of a name for this new acorn type squash?  Let us know if you have an idea.  I love to bake these and make pumpkin bread, pies, & pancakes.  But, they are great plain with a little butter, salt & pepper.  Or, brown sugar & spice!  Do you have a favorite recipe???

Love always  Straw Beary
